Although many positive things can be done using a smartphone, many people end up abusing the use of that device and deteriorate their love relationships by not putting limits on the way they use them.

It´s increasingly common for truck drivers or their partners to perform different actions without leaving their phones, such as eating, going to the supermarket, even having conversations. They are not able to forget about that device even when chatting with a person. A very uncomfortable and disrespectful behavior for the other person.

The more intimacy there is between people, such as a couple, the more the use of smartphones is abused. As if it were allowed to use that device unlimitedly with your partner. There are studies that indicate that the lower the couple´s income is, the more time they spend in front of a screen. The same goes for younger couples compared to older couples.

When one person in the couple uses their mobile phone excessively, the other person in the relationship feels frustrated, rejected, unwanted or not interesting. Consequently, the couple´s relationship is affected and in many cases that person begins to think about divorce and this thought comes to fruition in more and more cases.

If one of the members of the couple substitutes the moment of conversation to do something with the phone that is neither urgent nor important, there are signs that things are not going well. That couple will hardly have an emotional connection, much less a sexual one. A love relationship without connection between both parties has a great chance of failing.

We know that the enormous number of things we can do with our phones seduces us and we end up trapped in our screens, but we must value the moments we are back home and the blessing of being able to spend time with family and our partner. Therefore, it is advisable to limit the use of these devices.

Truck drivers must invest their time in having dates, chatting, preparing food together with their partner. Use their time to enjoy each other´s company. This will favor the relationship, keeping it healthy and avoiding arguments and possible divorces.
