Truckers who do not take care of themselves can suffer around 3 colds annually. A discomfort that lasts about 5 to 7 days and affects a trucker’s life at work and sexually especially in the following five ways:
1- Reduction of sexual desire (libido)
Cold symptoms such as headaches, runny nose, sneezing, fatigue, fever affect the libido. It is very difficult that, presenting these symptoms, the truck driver wants to have sex. The same happens in the case that their partner has the flu.
2- Sperm production is affected
The fact of having high fevers, a typical symptom of the flu, can have an impact on sperm, since up to 35% of the sperm concentration can be reduced in the semen of the trucker.
3- Bad mood
Mood is a very important factor when it comes to seducing and being able to have sex, especially in the case of women. Possibly a woman who has a cold will feel more grumpy and in a bad mood and the last thing she will want is to have sex.
4- Dryness in the vagina
It is very common to use analgesics to fight the cold. In order to feel better, it is very common to self medicate. But keep in mind that the use of these medications can cause dryness in the vagina, drastically affecting the sexual encounter.
5- Erectile dysfunction
It is a passing symptom related to the cold. It is possibly caused by failures in the circulatory system, which does not properly irrigate blood to the penis, as is usual in sexual encounters without having the flu, making it difficult to get an erection.
To avoid catching cold it is extremely important to take good care of yourself, for that the truck drivers must adopt a very balanced diet in which they consume a lot of fruit, that is, a lot of vitamin C; do physical exercise and wash your hands constantly, every time you arrive at a truck stop.
