Last August, the new semi-truck manufactured by Tesla was spotted passing through a scale inspection in Truckee, California. The Highway Patrol of California recorded the occasion by posting in their Facebook page some photos of the vehicle and affirming that the future has arrived. CHP considered that the inspection made for the all-electric class 8 tractor giant was easy and clean. The vehicle passed the inspection without having problems.
The odds are that the giant electric truck spotted during the inspection was travelling from the headquarters of the company in Fremont, California to Sparks, Nevada, the location of Tesla’s Gigabit battery plant. Tesla got a great number of pre-orders for their semi truck from companies like Walmart, FedEx, and UPS after the company unveiled the vehicle during their big event last November 2017.
